What is...?

Shelly's "Beyond the Bits" came to be due to having the same conversation, repeatedly, with my customers about piecing and how it can affect quilting.

Shelly centers her workshops and lectures around this idea and saying she created.

Think Beyond the Bits

It applies to Piecers and Longarmers.

Piecers: consider how the steps taken during the piecing process will affect the end result of your finished quilt. What does you want it to be when it grows up?
Longarmers: even before loading project (top, batting, backing), really look at the bits to help determine what type of panto the quilt needs. What's its purpose?
